Job Description
Piper Companies is seeking a Business Development Director to support an industry leader in Biotechnology. This position will be hybrid in Boston, MA. The Business Development Director is responsible for developing new business deals within the health and sciences sector.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Director include:
- Selling the client's CRO services to Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology organizations.
- Work with Business Partners, following global standards and strategy.
- Identify options and develop Key Decision Documents to support strategic decisions to deliver business objectives.
- Develop comprehensive strategies for business development in the areas of Oncology, Immunology, and Neurology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field. Work experience may suffice in place of a degree.
- Previous experience with business development within a Health & Sciences sector.
- 5–10 years in CRO sales.
- Salary Range: $165,000-200,000
